• The main aim of CarMaxs Vehicle Maintenance Technicians is to conduct careful inspections, restorations, and repairs on vehicles to ensure customers safety and contentment
• Working together as a team to promptly and effectively resolve technical obstacles
• Broaden your automotive mechanic expertise by working on a diverse collection of foreign and American cars
• Keeping our workplace safe, organized, and clean is an ongoing process, and it is essential to follow our guidelines for the benefit of all

Qualifications and Requirements:

• The ideal applicant will have a strong background in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and heating and air conditioning systems
• There are many benefits to having a firm grasp on health and safety compliance, including improved employee morale and decreased liability risks
• Proficiency in manual tasks and persistent physical resilience, move bulky materials, and remain mobile and upright for extended periods without fatigue
• Excelling at being productive amidst a flurry of activities in a dynamic work environment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail are attributes that can set you apart from others and open up a world of opportunities
• Possessing a valid driver's permit
• Under State or Local mandates, possessing ASE Certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Engine Performance (A8), and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2) is obligatory
