Job Description for Bar Service Professional:

It is the duty of the Bar Service Professional to ensure that guests have pleasant interactions and that drinks are mixed and dispensed accurately with a hospitable and prompt attitude to both customers and service staff. They offer exceptional client care, manage a well-kept bar location, and enforce adherence to all regulations pertaining to alcohol service.

Responsibilities for Bar Service Professional:

• Combine top-notch alcoholic beverages, fresh fruits, and herbs to concoct extraordinary drinks that will impress your visitors.
• Extend greetings to customers and solicit drink preferences from servers or customers.
• Create a selection of mixed drinks, cocktails, and other bar drinks based on customer preferences and in adherence to company protocols.
• Keep bottles and glassware arranged in an attractive and effective fashion to assist in the efficient preparation of drinks and to highlight beverages effectively.
• Partner with the kitchen team to craft an assortment of mixers and decorative elements for drinks.
• Confirm the age of guests before allowing them to buy alcohol by checking their identification.
• Manage a specified bank account and ensure strict adherence to procedures for cash management.
• Gather dues for beverages provided and review all financial documents.
• Ensure that the designated bar section is fully supplied with the essential equipment and ingredients required for drink preparation and customer service, and generate stock lists or procurement orders when supplies need replenishing.
• Distribute meals to customers at the bar counter.
• Show expertise in a wide range of food and beverage options, menu selections, and promotional activities.
• Keep the work environment neat and organized through activities like sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass doors and windows as required.
• Ensure that your work area is neat and systematically arranged.
• Set up Catering Storage Sections.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Engage in overall cleaning responsibilities to meet the required health and safety criteria.
• Fulfill any other responsibilities delegated by the supervisor.

Requirements for Bar Service Professional:

• Experience as a bartender for at least two years
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes.
• Know how to create and execute one-of-a-kind drinks.
• Must be able to create and serve drinks in a timely manner.
• Extensive knowledge of wines.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance standard.
• Ability to work independently or in a team during set up and execution of service.
• Willingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations.
• Ability to effectively listen and take directions from supervisor
• Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Must be personable, friendly, and welcoming.
• Tips or Team Certification Preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
• Must have a working email to communicate with your managers.
