Responsibilities for Cashier Attendant:

  • Greet all visitors cordially and take the lead in approaching customers to identify their needs and enhance their shopping journey.
  • Handle customer transactions and returns following established Front End protocols.
  • Urge customers to take advantage of company programs including customer loyalty incentives, warranty sales, and private label credit card opportunities for added value.
  • Comply with the set policies and procedures concerning safety, preventing losses, and standard operational protocols. Safeguard the confidentiality of all corporate information.
  • Foster an environment in your store that ensures all team members and patrons feel comfortable, secure, and valued.
  • Embrace a collaborative effort to assist the team throughout the entire store.
  • Fulfill any other assignments given by the management team.

Qualification for Cashier Attendant:

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Hourly pay rates when commencing employment may fluctuate depending on factors such as location, experience level, and the specific position being offered. The actual hourly wage will either match or surpass the minimum wage set for the job location.
